Employees who work part-time are more satisfied with their jobs, less anxious and less likely to think of leaving than full-time employees, new research suggests.

He found that despite their positive attitudes, part-time employees had higher rates of absence than their full-time equivalents, which he suggests may be because they are more affected by other commitments such as caring responsibilities than full-timers.
