The Institute of Physics needs opinionated scientists, preferably in the Brighton area, and not necessarily physicists. You are wanteed at 2pm on March 17 for a debate forming part of the IoP's annual congress, at which Sir Hermann Bondi will argue that the number of scientific researchers in British universities ought to be halved. Opposing Bondi will be Sir Arnold Wolfendale. If you can get along, contact Dianne Stilwell (dianne.stilwell@iop.org), not Antithesis. Stilwell says that for some reason, there seems to be a marked dearth of potential Bondi supporters.
