No wonder journalists cannot be nice about the Millennium Dome. The New Millennium Experience Company this week showed again that giving them the nastiest experience possible is its aim. Reporters on publications deemed not important enough to merit an invite to its conference on the dome's contents, like The THES, could not even get hold of a press pack at the time of the event. Many hours after the event they still could not - the company had run out and had to photocopy more. For more than Pounds 800 million, the company can clearly afford to be superior, cheapskate, and incompetent all at the same time.
