(Photograph) - Laser technology is coming to the aid of conservationists at the Tate Gallery to help them accurately assess change and damage to paintings. The laser technique is being developed by Christina Young of the mechanical engineering department at Imperial College, London, in collaboration with the Tate, the National Gallery and the Courtauld Institute.
