The following professorial lectures have been arranged: May 6 at 6.30pm in Room 4C23 on Frenchay Campus - Gisela Shaw, faculty of languages and European studies. The lecture is "Settling accounts with history: an amnesty for Communist crime in the former German Democratic Republic?".

May 13 at 6.30pm in The Octagon on Frenchay Campus: Ken Jukes, faculty of computer studies and mathematics. The lecture is "Mission Impossible! Curiosity and applications driven research".

May 20 at 6.30pm in The Octagon: Alan Winfield, faculty of engineering. The lecture is "From Complexity to Simplicity: the engineering of intelligent autonomous systems".

May at 6.30 in The Octagon: Alan Bensted, faculty of law. The lecture is "Legal Education into the next Millennium".
