Half of the Association of Colleges' former board of governors are standing for re-election, after a vote of no confidence in February forced a mass resignation. The 18-member Board was forced to stand down, after 70 per cent of principals demanded a "fresh start" after the controversy surrounding the departure of AoC chief executive Roger Ward. Nine board members have not been nominated for re-election.
