Police shut Anglia hate-mail investigation

Police have closed an investigation into hate-mail at Anglia Polytechnic University due to a lack of evidence. The hate-mail, which slurred members of staff at the business school who had criticised an internal investigation that exonerated dean Hugh Jenkins from claims of nepotism, was a breach of the Malicious Publications Act.
