Napier University is planning to give new entrants the option of paying their tuition fees by direct debit in up to ten monthly instalments. It is also planning a reward system for prompt payment by students who choose to pay their fees up-front. A spokeswoman said fees could not be reduced, since these were set externally, but the university was looking at various alternatives, including book tokens.
