THE National Union of Students Scotland is predicting a massive rise in the number of students suing their parents for maintenance following changes in student support. The warning comes after Kirsty Strang, a Glasgow University accountancy student, won the first round of an action against her estranged father who has been ordered to make an interim payment to her of Pounds 30 a week.
