Silicon Fen faces Oxford challenge

Oxford University is challenging Cambridge's claim to be Britain's leading centre for high technology industry. A new report from Cambridge found that Oxfordshire's 730 high-tech companies employ 26,400 staff, though it still lags behind Cambridge's famous Silicon Fen, which employs 30,000 staff in 1,000 businesses.
