Prospective entrants to a psychology course at Heriot-Watt University have been told it is being suspended. The university has imposed the moratorium within a year of launching the course in applied psychology with 50 entrants. Heriot-Watt blamed potential financial penalties from the Scottish Higher Education Funding Council for the move.
