The fee degrees

August 21, 1998

K. D. M. Snell is quite right. I hold two MAs that might be regarded as spurious. One is a Scottish first degree, requiring four years' study. The other cost me Pounds 5. 1 also have a postgraduate masters' degree and a PhD, but the University of Cambridge does not recognise either as they were awarded by the universities of Aberdeen and Leicester.
