A Pounds 1,460,000 grant from the European Social Fund and technical support from BT will kickstart a two-year pilot project in Suffolk that aims to build the infrastructure for a dispersed University of Suffolk. Local learning centres will provide distance training using the newest information, learning and communications technologies.
