The High Court has dismissed a judicial review application by an aggrieved student against the University of Central England. Iqbal Sandhu had applied for judicial review when the university refused to withdraw a decision to award him no marks for a dissertation he submitted for examination after the deadline. Mr Sandhu, who obtained a pass mark for his business studies degree, had failed to obtain a deadline extension, according to the university. Mr Justice Owen refused leave to appeal.
