Students from mainland China have enrolled at Hong Kong universities for the first time since the British handover in July 1997. Two Beijing high school leavers have enrolled at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Students will do a preparatory year in written and spoken English.
