(Photograph) - Writers on the wall: onlookers watch as Belgrade University students deliberately defy a new Serb law for which four of their colleagues were jailed for ten days this month. They had written slogans against the University Act and Serbian Law on Public Information. Six literature lecturers have been dismissed, 11 electrical engineering lecturers have been barred from the buildings for not signing their new contracts and eight have had their salaries cut.
