A new library will open in the Port of Santos, Brazil, on January 28, thanks to the efforts of the University of Sao Paulo and the Catholic University of Santos. Staff and students have been given the task of preserving the historical documents and looking after 2,500 books and a massive video library on the history and modernisation of the port, which is the largest in South America.
