A halt should be called to university expansion amid evidence that qualification inflation is devaluing degrees, according to Rethinking Higher Education, published today. Thomas Lange's report, for the right-wing think-tank the Institute of Economic Affairs, says that the expansion of higher education has gone too far and that there might be little demand for more graduates in the near future.
