A hunt for the remains of a meteorite thought to have landed in south-west Greenland in December 1997 has resulted in two specks of dust. They were found after three tons of snow had been melted and filtered. Henning Haack of the Geological Museum under Copenhagen University is to decide how to examine the particles without destroying them.
