The Tatung Institute of Technology in Taiwan named a former computer engineering student as author of the Chernobyl (CIH) virus which caused many computers around the world to fail last month. The virus began to cause damage in an inter-college data system last April, according to Lee Chee-Chen, the institute's dean of student affairs.
