* Reclusive billionaire Gary Weston (pictured) this week announced a Pounds 10 million grant to the British Museum, bringing his total gifts to over Pounds 20 million, It is the largest ever donation from a private benefactor. The money is for the "Great Court" scheme, London's first covered public square, which will house a centre for education, galleries and exhibition space.
