Beagle 2

Beagle 2, a lander to accompany the Mars Express mission being coordinated by Colin Pillinger at the Open University, is still on course for inclusion in Mars Express. Professor Pillinger, whose bid to the Joint Infrastrucutre Fund for help with Beagle 2 was last week turned down, hopes to speak with Lord Sainsbury to see if and how the government can help fund the lander.
