Age and reason

A University of Dundee professor whose work in developing information technology systems to support elderly and disabled people is to advise government and business on IT futures as part of the Foresight programme. Alan Newell, head of applied computing, will serve on the panel advising on the effects of research into IT that does not exclude an ageing population.
