Racism can only be eradicated if improvements are made in education, said Neville Lawrence (pictured), father of murdered teenager Stephen, at a meeting of Kent University's law society.
The implications of the Macpherson inquiry dominated the meeting, but Mr Lawrence also mentioned his work in schools and colleges, to change the attitudes of young people towards race.
