Universities 'can go it alone'

Universities would be better off left to their own devices, according to a MORI poll of student attitudes compiled by the Adam Smith Institute. Forty-nine per cent of the 1,000 students surveyed agreed that universities could manage their own affairs better than bureaucrats or politicians.
