Free skills course

January 28, 2000

Small businesses in Leeds and Bradford will soon be able to send employees to brush up their skills on a free course at Leeds Metropolitan University, funded by the European Social Fund. Businesses with between five and 24 employees are eligible for the course, which will cover areas such as IT, communication skills, time and resource management and self-assessment.

Credits of the optional "Making Your Experience Count" module count towards a university degree.
