More than 2,200 police ended the 291-day strike at the National Autonomous University of Mexico on Sunday, arresting a total of 632 strikers. The strike began in April in protest at plans to raise tuition fees. Federal police said they sealed off the campus, then moved in without meeting any resistance from the handful of strikers on the barricades.
