Scotland's further and higher education institutions should be involved in local economic forums responsible for creating an economic strategy for their area, according to a Scottish Parliament report.
The enterprise and lifelong learning committee, which conducted an eight-month inquiry into economic development, has called for forums as a means of avoiding confusion and overlap between different agencies.
