A former school cleaner and full-time mother graduated from Glasgow University this year with an honours degree in philosophy.
Una Wilson, aged 41, is one of 40 access students whose stories are outlined in a booklet from the Committee of Scottish Higher Education Principals, Including Me , which highlights Scottish institutions' work to promote social inclusion. The booklet has been sent to MSPs, warning that institutions need support and investment to achieve a fair education system.
