The government this week announced 15 winners in the National Training Awards.
They include Paul Champion, who worked in the engineering industry before earning a sports studies degree then a further education teaching certificate. He is now a sports trainer for the National Association for the Care and Resettlement of Offenders.
Bournemouth Students Union won an award for devising a bar staff training scheme leading to industry-standard recognition.
