Glasgow students tested in sex attacker hunt
Police are carrying out DNA tests on 200 male Glasgow University students to try to find a sex attacker who assaulted an 11-year-old girl and 18-year-old woman in Edinburgh.
British cannibals are not long gone
Cannibalism in Britain existed as recently as 2,000 years ago, Bristol University archaeologists said today. Bones found in a cave at Alveston, Gloucestershire, showed classic evidence of cannibalistic activity, said Mark Horton, a reader in archaeology. The find will be featured on Channel 4’s Time Team programme on Thursday.
