City University's fire

Monday evening's fire, which raged through City University's main site, College Building, was started accidentally in an academic member of staff's office, according to investigators. The grade II listed building included five academic apartments, the schools of journalism and computing and the vice-chancellor's office. Examinations have carried on as normal in other buildings.
