Brussels, 17 January 2002
'PV [photovoltaic technology] in Europe, from PV technology to energy solutions', a conference supported by the European Commission and the Italian Ministry for the environment, will take place in Rome, Italy on 7 to 11 October 2002.
The programme comprises lectures on the state of the art of PV in Europe, oral and poster presentations of specific research, development and demonstration projects on issues from PV technology to energy solutions and European and Mediterranean PV markets.
An exhibition of PV products and services as well as workshops, fora and contact events on specific PV issues will also be held. An 'Italian day' will also be held in parallel to the conference programme, focusing on PV strategies and development in Italy.
The conference organisers are currently calling for papers for the event, abstracts of which should be submitted before 25 March 2002. For further information, please see the reference below.
