E-learning: opportunities and challenges

Brussels, 22 April 2002

Members of the press are invited to attend a discussion by education experts on the opportunities of e-learning in Berlin, Germany on 23 April.

Germany's federal Minister for education, Edelgard Bulmahn, will attend the event, along with the Education Minister from the German state Schleswig Holstein, Ute Erdsiek-Rave, and several experts from the field of education.

Under the heading of 'Education online - virtual universities,' speakers will give their opinions on the challenges and opportunities which e-learning presents.
