Analysis of IST programme tools requested by Commission

The European Commission's Information Society DG has issued a call for tenders for a study to provide input to the next five year assessment of the IST (information society technologies) programme by carrying out an analysis, via case studies, of the instruments used in the IST programme.

The aim should be to identify the facets of the instruments that have been effective and/or efficient as a means of deploying research funding including those elements of the instrument that could be exploited in future Framework programmes. The study should also make recommendations regarding methodology for any subsequent study of instruments.
