CORDIS, the European Commission's Research and Development Information Service, is offering new descriptions of projects funded by the 'Quality of life' programme in the field of fisheries.
More than 120 new records were recently added, covering the latest achievements of EU funded research supervised by European Commission's DG Fisheries. Each record provides a general description of the project, key data as well as a list of participants' including contact details.
Examples of activities financed under Key action 5 'Sustainable agriculture, fisheries and forestry' range from the preservation of species, the conservation of diversity, bio-economic modeling to computer-based management, resources assessment and fish locomotion and escape performance.
The regular consultation of the funded project section of Fifth Framework programme (FP5) services and the project database enable potential applicants in FP6 to search for previous research projects in specific fields and thus avoid duplication. It also offers a good overview of the European funded research trends in different domains.
