Companies invited to present technology offers and requests at Biomaterial 2002

Brussels, 30 July 2002

'Biomaterial 2002', organised by the Innovation relay centre (IRC) at THATI GmbH in Erfurt, Germany and the Thüringen Society for biomatieral will take place on 24 and 25 October in Erfurt.

Around 120 participants from six to eight countries are expected to attend the event, which will focus on quality assurance, product liability, in vitro testing and in vivo testing in the field of medical biomaterials.

Companies and organisations involved in these areas are invited to participate and to present their technology offers or requests as well as their partner searches for projects within the forthcoming Sixth Framework programme (FP6) for research and technological development. Pre-arranged meetings with potential partners will also take place at the event.

Company profiles will be published in a bilingual catalogue (German/English) and distributed to specialist industry and research circles across Europe.

The aim of the event is to foster new business relationships, stimulate cooperation between industry and the research community and to initiate new joint research projects in preparation for FP6.
