The European Commission has launched a new web portal offering information and advice on EU-funded agricultural research.
The site gives a comprehensive overview of EU-funded research activities and how they benefit policy makers, consumers, industry and farmers.
Previous projects are presented, including research to combat swine fever, gene research for pathogen free chickens, genetically modified rice and one-step diagnosis for plant diseases.
AgriNet also offers information on support measures, relevant publications and events and the European research area.
