A workshop explaining the Commission's proposals for new mechanisms of research support will take place in Cambridge, UK on 6 December.
The event is aimed at research managers and administrators who already have some knowledge of EU research programmes. Speakers will provide information on integrated projects and networks of excellence, the new instruments through which the Commission will channel research funding.
Organisers Singleimage advise and assist companies, universities, research organisations and administrative bodies who wish to participate in the European Union's IST and Growth Programmes and through the day will explore how these funding mechanisms will operate in practice. It will also describe the more traditional forms of Commission support for research and how these will change in the Sixth Framework Programme through lectures, practical exercises and feedback sessions.
