Reduced student numbers are being blamed for an Pounds 896,000 deficit and up to 65 redundancies at Yorkshire Coast College, Scarborough. The Further Education Funding Council said the loss was not linked to the college's accidental enrolment last year of 42 infants from the staff creche.
