The University of Heidelberg will a workshop on 'Beyond scientific computing - modelling, simulation and experimental verification' in Brussels on 10 December.
Featuring Dr. Diemut Theato, Member of the European Parliament, the workshop aims to give an overview on the broad spectrum of possible applications of scientific computing in research.
It will include short presentations on biomolecular simulation, Optimisation in practical applications, parallel simulation of transport in groundwater flow processes, chemically reacting flows, modelling and simulations in biosciences and biotechnology and modelling of complex distributed phenomena.
