The Learning and Skills Council yesterday launched consultation on the government's plans to reform 14-19 education and training. Colleges, employers and local authorities will be asked to respond to proposed new funding criteria, bureaucracy-busting measures, performance targets and the development of qualifications. The plans are contained in the government's Success for All document that forms part of its 14-19 green paper.
