Almost £100 million of fraudulent or irregular payments could have been made under the disastrous Individual Learning Accounts scheme, the National Audit Office has said.
The NAO reported last week that the cost of fraud and serious irregularities may be up to £67 million, with a further £30 million paid outside the rules. It could take up to two years to fully investigate the situation.
