Singleimage Ltd is to host two workshops on issues related to the Sixth Framework Programme (FP6) in Cambridge, UK. The first is entitled 'getting a framework six proposal off the ground' and will take place on 21 March. The second focuses on 'consortium agreements for FP6' and will be held on March.
The first workshop aims to equip research managers, individual researchers and developers with an understanding of what needs to be done to put forward a proposal under FP6 and how to optimise the process of preparing a proposal for all concerned.
The content of this workshop will focus primarily on integrated projects, but much of the information will be equally applicable to targeted research projects. Participants are expected to have a basic understanding of EU research funding.
The second event will provide a detailed analysis of the Commission's new model contract and its implications for consortium agreements. It will include an introduction to the decision making process which will be needed, especially for integrated projects, and describe the various options for handling intellectual property and financial management.
