Brussels, 25 Mar 2003
The German Ministry of Education and Research is calling for innovative projects aimed at speeding up the production process and making it safer.
The projects will be funded with 10 million euro for the period of 2004 until 2007. The funding is aimed primarily at small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs), but will also support universities and other research institutions.
The funding will be provided under the 'research for the production of tomorrow' programme, which awards funding of around 60 million euro every year.
