College heads have backed suggestions made in an Ofsted report that universities are not doing enough to encourage a broader curriculum in schools and further education. The Association of Colleges claims that "this attitude (from universities) is seriously damaging the success of Curriculum 2000". But the AoC disagrees with Ofsted that Curriculum 2000 had not started successfully, believing it to be "the most significant" change in 20 years.
