A seminar on research information management will take place on 12 June in Faro, Portugal.
The seminar aims to discuss issues relating to current research information systems (CRISs) and the EU's common European research information format (CERIF).
Some examples of CERIF and CRISs in practice will be presented, as well as current work on extensions to handle research output metrics and grey literature.
It is expected that by the end of the seminar, participants will be able to discuss and decide upon their own information technology (IT) needs and how best to use IT in work relating to research and development.
The seminar is being organised by euroCRIS, which is responsible for the maintenance of standards and provision of advice in all matters relating to CRIS.
