EARMA, the European association of research managers and administrators, together with the University of Algarve, are organising an international research management conference from 12 to 14 June in Faro, Portugal.
The ninth annual EARMA conference is entitled 'facing challenges of changing environments', and aims to bring together research professionals and other interested parties from across Europe to discuss issues such as:
- The challenge of managing human capital and mobility;
- The challenge of managing research for regional development;
- Facing new challenges in managing research.
The event will also host workshops on a range of topical issues, and parallel sessions will inform participants about the implementation of human mobility under the Sixth Framework Programme, for example within the Marie Curie fellowship scheme.
