Brussels, 06 Jun 2003
The seventh international conference on the biogeochemistry of trace elements will take place from 15 to 19 June in Uppsala, Sweden.
Biogeochemistry has developed into an interdisciplinary science, linking phenomena observed in the biosphere to physical and chemical reactions in the pedo- and lithosphere. Participants will be asked to examine and discuss contemporary and emerging research in the biogeochemistry of trace elements.
The conference will also provide a forum for professionals, regulators, and students to present their most recent findings and to discuss with colleagues from around the world state-of-the-art methodology, analytical techniques, and process development.
The conference is being sponsored by the Swedish university of agricultural sciences (SLU) and the international society of trace elements biogeochemistry (ISTEB).
