The centre of excellence for industrial gas turbines (CE-IGT) will host a conference aimed at defining research priorities within the sector from 23 to 24 October in Villefranche, France.
CE-IGT is a Commission supported programme whose main targets are:
- identification of future technology needs and requirements in the European IGT industry in order to establish priority research fields;
- identification and mapping of expertise in IGT research;
- creation of technology platforms within priority research fields including the involvement of key research organisations.
The event will present delegates with an opportunity to discuss the future research and development needs in the IGT field, and is open to representatives from universities, research organisations and research departments of companies involved in IGT.
